It’s been a tumultuous year for Niantic as the San Francisco-based developer downsized and shut down some current and future projects as it focuses on its core titles such as “Pokemon Go,” “Ingress Prime” and “Peridot.” One of the games that survived the cuts was “Monster Hunter Now,” a Niantic-made game licensed from Capcom.
